Ao longo da hist\u00f3ria, houve algumas grandes inven\u00e7\u00f5es que fizeram crescer imenso a nossa sociedade - a roda, a b\u00fassola, a penicilina, a l\u00e2mpada el\u00e9ctrica e as ferramentas. Entre as ferramentas mais importantes, encontra-se a chave de fendas, que n\u00e3o pode faltar em casa. Neste artigo, vamos apresentar-lhe uma breve descri\u00e7\u00e3o da hist\u00f3ria da chave de fendas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

O parafuso<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Antes de falarmos sobre a chave de fendas, precisamos de falar sobre a sua contraparte - o parafuso. O parafuso foi inventado por volta de 400 a.C. na Gr\u00e9cia e era normalmente utilizado para extrair sumo de uva e azeite. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Primeira chave de fendas<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A primeira chave de fendas foi inventada na Alemanha ou em Fran\u00e7a, no s\u00e9culo XV, e era uma chave de fendas de cabe\u00e7a chata. Esta inven\u00e7\u00e3o surgiu na sequ\u00eancia da normaliza\u00e7\u00e3o dos parafusos de cabe\u00e7a chata durante um aumento generalizado da produ\u00e7\u00e3o. Esta inven\u00e7\u00e3o acabaria por se tornar na ferramenta dom\u00e9stica mais essencial em todas as casas do planeta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chave de fendas Robertson<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

P.L. Robertson inventou a Chave de Fendas Robertson em 1908 - uma chave de fendas quadrada que reinventou completamente a forma como as chaves de fendas eram produzidas. Eliminou o problema das chaves de fendas de cabe\u00e7a chata que escorregavam com demasiada frequ\u00eancia e criou um m\u00e9todo mais fi\u00e1vel que acabaria por ser adotado em grande escala pela Ford Motor Company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chave de fendas hexagonal\/chave Allen<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Em 1909, W.G. Allen inventou a chave Allen, que constitu\u00eda uma atualiza\u00e7\u00e3o de seguran\u00e7a em rela\u00e7\u00e3o aos parafusos de fixa\u00e7\u00e3o que sobressa\u00edam perigosamente das m\u00e1quinas. Estas chaves Allen ainda hoje s\u00e3o vulgarmente utilizadas na montagem de m\u00f3veis de caixa plana.<\/p>\n\n\n

Chave de fendas Phillips<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

P.L. Robertson perdeu os direitos sobre a sua inven\u00e7\u00e3o e, em 1932, Henry Phillips comprou-a e redesenhou-a para que tivesse a forma de uma cruz, de modo a obter um maior bin\u00e1rio e a capacidade de aparafusar mais apertado. Esta chave de fendas Phillips ainda \u00e9 utilizada atualmente e \u00e9 um termo comum em todos os pa\u00edses de l\u00edngua inglesa. Esta chave de fendas foi concebida para produ\u00e7\u00e3o em massa e foi um grande sucesso entre os construtores de todo o mundo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chave de fendas Torx<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A chave de fendas Torx foi inventada pela Camcar Textron em 1967 e tem 6 l\u00f3bulos que aumentam a superf\u00edcie de contacto para um maior bin\u00e1rio e menos deslizamento. Isto reduziu o desgaste tanto dos parafusos como das chaves de fendas e tornou-se um pilar da ind\u00fastria autom\u00f3vel nos anos seguintes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chave de fendas el\u00e9ctrica<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

As chaves de fendas el\u00e9ctricas foram inventadas em meados do s\u00e9culo XX, mas tornaram-se comuns na d\u00e9cada de 1970. Estas ferramentas pr\u00e1ticas melhoraram a efici\u00eancia nos sectores da ind\u00fastria e da constru\u00e7\u00e3o e tornaram-se cobi\u00e7adas e indispens\u00e1veis nas casas para projectos de bricolage. As ferramentas el\u00e9ctricas ainda s\u00e3o utilizadas hoje em dia na maioria das ind\u00fastrias e impulsionam a constru\u00e7\u00e3o e a produ\u00e7\u00e3o eficientes.
